How do you submit a modified offer after home inspection?

Is it standard to submit a completely new offer after the home inspection that reflects the proposed changes tot he offer? Or do you do an addendum to the existing offer? Or something else entirely?

Your contract should have a clause about the home inspection. Typically you have 10 days from the date of the signed contract to do a home inspection and then Submit Your repair requests to the seller. If there are things you want changed, then you can just do an addendum to the current contract.

Remember, in most common real estate contracts, you can only request for repairs or replacements of items that are “latent material defects” a.k.a. “hidden defects not readily apparent”.
