Any luck selling “home made stuff” on ebay?

I’m thinking of selling home made curtains, pillows, ect (for children’s rooms)on ebay. Has anyone ever sold something similar with any luck?

If they are making more than what your paying for your items, then just sell right along with them maybe 2bucks cheaper.
